Current Team

Our current "Cranbourne Allstars" team of horses numbers three and includes the following:

Little Bit Sassy winning at Yarra Valley

Little Bit Sassy is a 6yo mare trained by Simone Walker for our all-girl Cranbourne Allstar #3 Syndicate.

As at 31 March 2017, Sassy has accumulated earnings in excess of $36,000 on the track from 7 lifetime wins and a further 9 placings from 43 race starts.

Unfortunately Sassy went amiss after her run at Cranbourne on 15 December and has been battling to overcome a significant foot ailment.

Now assessed as a C4 mare, Simone is hoping that Sassy can make a complete recovery and compete at a metropolitan level this preparation.

Sassy has just resumed fast work and providing she stays sound she should be seen back at the trials later in April.

Fairest Fella

Fairest Fella is a 4yo gelding in the care of Michael Hughes at the state of the art Cranbourne Training Complex.

This son of Artistic Fella and Mirra Mirra ranks as a half-brother to the handy performers Image Of Ella, Sweeten The Pot, I Look A Lot and Fairest One Youare.

Fairest Fella has recorded two wins and been placed on 11 occassions from 25 starts in a career that was punctuated by a number of niggling injuries as a juvenile.

Snap has been a model of consistency in his most recent preparation (2 wins & 5 placings from 9 starts) and should continue on from where he left off when he resumes racing.

Fairest Fella returned to Michael's stables on 20 March to begin his current preparation. All going well, the gelding should make a return to the racetrack in early June.

Rocknroll Gold

Rocknroll Gold is a 4yo gelding also entrusted to Michael Hughes.

This fellow has shown great promise on the track to date and was placed second in the Youthful Stakes at Melton during his freshman season.

After a successful season of racing as a 3yo, Pop has gone on to race consistently in open aged company and has now earned almost $43,000 in stakes (including his Vicbred first win bonus) for connections.

Rocknroll Gold was successful on his home track on 7 January this year and has "been therabouts" in most of his nine runs since that victory.
