The Cranbourne Harness Racing Club's first venture into syndication has proven a real hit with shares in our Art Major x Meredith Castle yearling filly now fully allocated.
Presented as lot 284 at the 2011 APG Yearling Sale, this filly has been leased from her breeder John Bagshaw for the duration of her 2, 3 & 4 year old racing career.
Progeny of Art Major were again in demand at this year's sales following on from his success as the leading 2010 Australian sire for both 2yo's and 3yo's.

Meredith Castle was a 7 time winner from her racetrack appearances from 2 to 4 years of age.
She is a daughter of the wonderful producer Poetry whose 9 individual winners include the outstanding Blake Castle (1:53 and $265,948) and La Coocaracha (23 wins and $428,911).
Meredith Castle is the dam of 2 previous foals to date including Man Of Art (5 wins) and the promising Its Girl Power.
The filly will be trained by Pearcedale mentor Bill Walker who is rarely without a handy performer in his small but select team.
