Race At Cranbourne - See The World
First run in 2007-08, the Cranbourne Trainers Bonanza was introduced as a means of rewarding trainers for their participation at Cranbourne. At each race meeting throughout the year, the winning trainer of a nominated Bonanza race goes into our end of season Bonanza draw along with a trainer chosen at random from competing trainers at that meeting.
Once again this year the club offered a major prize of a club sponsored trip for two to the USA for the Little Brown Jug, France for the Prix D'Amerique or Sweden for the famed Elitlopp carnival. Leading trainer Glenn Douglas capped off a huge year on Saturday 24th September when his name was drawn from the Bonanza barrel giving he and his wife Julie the enviable task of now having to decide on their preferred travel destination.
Lara trainer Dean Bruan also shared in the end of season Bonanza spoils taking home a new Toro ride on lawn mower donated by club sponsor ADE Turf Equipment.
In 2011-12 Cranbourne will again offer a trip for two to an international harness racing event to one lucky trainer as part of its popular Trainers Bonanza. All we ask is that trainers get behind our meetings and "Race At Cranbourne" for their chance to "See The World".
