Elteearr Victorious

Locally trained pacer Elteearr was the medium of heavy support when victorious at Melton on Monday afternoon. Punters rallied behind the pacer, whose fixed odds quote of $8.50 more than halved at the jump, and Elteearr did the rest winning convincingly after leading throughout.

Walker Making An Impact

Local trainer Simone Walker and her recent stable addition Magic Impact both seem to be relishing their move to the Cranbourne Training Centre.

Walker, who moved to the Centre at the start of the current season, produced Magic Impact to win the first race on the latest Cranbourne program which was hosted at Melton Sunday night.

Six year old mare Little Bit Sassy returned from a lengthy injury enforced layoff to win first up at Warragul on Monday and in doing so, provided the second leg of a double for her Cranbourne trainer Simone Walker.

Four year old mare Clancy Pants was rewarded for her recent consistent form with a win in the Team Staffing Solutions Pace at Yarra Glen earlier today. The Charlie Wootton trained pacer has been around the mark since winning at Kilmore in February and produced a dour performance to score at her latest assignment.

Green Team Enjoying Purple Patch

Clyde trainer Jayne Davies recent vein of winning form continued at Cranbourne on Sunday when lightly raced three year old Melchoir saluted in the first race on the program. The win was the fifth in the space of just 14 days for the stable known as the Green Team after stable doubles at Warragul and Yarra Valley in recent weeks.

Cranbourne trained five year old Magic Impact dealt punters a savage blow when he saluted at massive odds at Melton earlier today. But that mattered little to an excited family of owners and a pleasantly surprised trainer who revelled in the gelding's first up win for her stable.
